LOW SPEED HANDLING CHARACTERISTICS OF THE STOL AIRCRAFT
This paper presents a description of the STOL aircraft, a historical background, the STOL philosophy, the powered lift and control concept, and a summary of the general operational characteristics exhibited from over 6000 STOL operations with the prototype and production McDonnell Douglas 188/Brequet 941 STOL vehicles.
