A study on living conditions and living costs by location in Fukui City
The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual situation and cost of living by location in Fukui City. The following are the main findings. There is no significant difference in land prices within the urbanized area of Fukui City, except in the city center. In a city like Fukui where land prices are falling across the city, living in a newly built suburban residential area far from the town center and with inconvenient public transport, with three or more private cars, may result in higher living costs compared to living with only one private car in the town center or near a railway station, or in a second-hand house.
