ULTIMATE STRENGTH TESTS ON LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE UNDER CONTINUED LOADING
VERSUCHE ZUR DAUERSTANDFESTIGKEIT VON LEICHTBETONEN
Details are given of a series of tests on various types of standard lightweight concrete (gap-graded concrete, pumice concrete, crushed brick aggregate concrete). Cylindrical samples were subjected to loads corresponding to fractions of transient strength the value of which had to be calculated. Because of the marked dispersion observed in the results, it was not possible to determine the relation between transient and long-tern strength sufficiently accurately. /IRRD/
