SUGGESTED AIRWAY NETWORKS BASED ON MINIMUM TIME CONSIDERATIONS
This paper presents part of the results of a series of investigations concerning the use of minimum time track data in airways design for continental and over-ocean routes. In general, these studies involved considerations of minimum time tracks in terms of their geographical distribution, lateral separation between opposing tracks, persistence of track locations, and type of track networks that would preserve economic advantages and controllability.
