Prospects for the Development of Professional Training for the Transport Industry During Digitalization and Remote Work on the Example of VSUWT
Deep restructuring of all types of economic activity associated with digitalization has led to a change in the technologies used and the emergence of new business models; it does not bypass the education sector either. Internet educational platforms, cloud technologies, business and management processes carried out through the use of mobile applications - this is what Russian universities faced during the pandemic. The article is devoted to the analysis of development of the system of professional training for the transport industry. The basics of organizing a continuous educational process are considered, characteristic problems of training and use of personnel are identified, and the main directions for improving the system of multilevel training are formulated. Assessment of current state and development prospects of both the transport industry and the system of professional training for non-distance work and digitalization of education system as a whole has been carried out. Using the example of FSFEI HE VSUWT, it is shown that with an optimally organized educational process with varying forms of distance work, the learning outcomes do not differ significantly from the results of traditional classroom educational process for mastering most disciplines. The authors actualize the issue of digital component development of modern education, joining the digital environment by creating a digital educational institution and accelerating the readiness of universities to provide quality educational services in the face of new requirements and an ongoing pandemic.
