THE AIR QUALITY LAND USE PLANNING PROCESS IN CALIFORNIA STATUS, JUNE 1974
This report analyzes the state of the relationship between future air quality and land use and transportation planning in California as of June 1974. The ARB report to the Legislature of August 1973 titled 'Report on Guidelines for Relating Air Pollution Control to Land Use and Transportation Planning in the State of California' should be read as background for this report. The report notes that the major COG's through the transportation planning process are the presently operating defacto agencies in the air quality/land use planning area.
