A REALISTIC VIEW OF THE PEOPLE IN AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL
An overview of research findings on air traffic controllers is presented. Results of personality, aptitude, motivation, interest, and attitude studies are considered in terms of the general pattern of characteristics found to be associated with success in the air traffic profession. The implications of these findings for managerial programs is discussed.
