STATIC CONCRETE CONSTITUTIVE RELATION BASED ON CUBICAL SPECIMENS. VOLUME 2: ADDITIONAL TESTING OF CUBICAL SPECIMENS
Uniaxial, biaxial, and triaxial compressive tests were conducted on cubical test specimens cast and brought to small dimensional tolerances by Terra Tek, Inc. The primary purpose of the tests was to determine if the test-to-test variation could be reduced by using the carefully prepared test cubes. The test-to-test variation was reduced using the specially prepared cubes. The results obtained from these tests were compared to the results obtained in the primary testing program. The initial tangent modulus from the uniaxial tests of this program was used in the computer solution to the model. The computer predicted results compared favorably in the uniaxial and biaxial cases, but not in the triaxial case. /Author/
