Managing Risks Associated with Major Funding Uncertainty: Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Case Study

This case study focuses on Michigan Department of Transportation's (MDOT's) investment strategy development process, including its asset condition forecasting methodology. It explores MDOT’s use of asset condition forecasting and its efforts to identify alternative strategies. It describes how the agency conducts strategy selection, target-setting, and the Call for Projects process.
