DETERMINATION OF THE PORE-SIZE DISTRIBUTION IN STONES BY MEANS OF THE MOISTURE SUCTION
In this work a method is described for the determination of pore-size distribution in stones, based on the relationship between suction and capillary-pore radius in porous materials in which water is retained. Results obtained in two limestones with different pore-size are presented, as well as methods used in the determination of the relationship between suction and moisture content, the field of application of each of the methods, expressed in pH and in pore diameter, being indicated. /Author/
