Grand Forks Data Collection and Archival Study - Phase I

The Advanced Traffic Analysis Center (ATAC) at North Dakota State University's Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute was contacted by the Grand Forks - East Grand Forks Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) with regards to using the existing traffic detection cameras for traffic data collection and archival. Thirty sample intersections were set up for data collection and monitored by ATAC staff. Detectors, detector stations, and detector functions were created on a per lane basis.
