BRITISH PATENT SPECIFICATION NO. 1068163: CONCRETE AND STEEL MATERIAL
A detailed description is given of the invention of a two-phase material comprising unstressed reinforcing steel wire spaced within concrete in a critical fashion to produce a concrete material with high tensile strength, resistance to thermal, tensile and fatigue cracking, resilience and flexibility, and which experiences plastic flow without disintegration. Suggested uses for this material include roads, runways and various engineering structures, including maritime ones since salt water corrosion is inhibited. /IRRD/
