ZINC DIETHYLDITHIOCARBAMATE IN BITUMEN
A simple and rapid method involving the use of infrared spectroscopy has been developed for the determination of zinc diethyldithiocarbamate in very small samples of bitumen. Results of the analysis of samples of bitumen taken at two road trials have been presented together with a discussion on the apparent degradation of the anti-oxidant during its incorporation into the road-grade bitumens used. /IRRD/
