BRITISH STANDARD SPECIFICATION NO. 1881: PARTS 1, 2, 3, 4 AND 5: 1970. METHODS OF TESTING CONCRETE
The purpose of this British Standard is to provide suitable methods for testing concrete, both on site and in the laboratory. The Standard has been rearranged and is published in five separate parts as follows: Part 1, Methods of sampling fresh concrete; Part 2, Methods of testing fresh concrete; Part 3, Methods of making and curing test specimens; Part 4, Methods of testing concrete for strength; Part 5, Methods of testing concrete for other than strength. The tests do not apply to concrete whose nominal maximum aggregate size exceeds 40 mm. /TRRL/
