Costs and Benefits of Shared Mobility in a Suburban Context: The Impact of Powertrain Technology
The primary objective of this research is to evaluate the potentials of shared mobility, comparing several powertrain technology choices over a range of vehicle capacities in the suburban context. This study contributes to the existing literature by evaluating the shared mobility scenarios using detailed cost analysis, CO2 emission, and fleet composition in a suburban case study. Given that transit share in suburban areas is meagre, our study is set to provide policymakers and transit providers insights into potential markets for the adoption of shared mobility in suburban contexts.
