Stakeholder Conference on Means to Mitigate the Impact of the Transition to Automation and Digitalisation on the Transport Workforce

On 21 March 2023, the European Commission organised a participatory conference in Brussels on means to mitigate the impact of the transition to automation and digitalisation on the transport workforce. The objective of this participatory conference was to discuss the draft text of potentially available means to mitigate the impact of the transition to automation and digitalisation on the transport workforce. More specifically, to analyse whether the challenges are well assessed, to determine whether the solutions identified are suitable and effective, to bring forward each stakeholder group’s perspectives and finally to bring forward each transport mode group’s perspectives.
