Investment and Finance for the Intelligent Transportation System in China

Based on the development of Chinese Intelligent Integrate Transportation Systems, this paper shows the problems found in the process of the investment and finance of urban Intelligent Integrate Transportation Systems, especially when the problem faces the planning and Decision-Making process. In addition, this paper introduces some good examples that happened in the U.S. and other developed countries, besides the experience of success and failure in the construction of the highways in our country, and the expectations of finding a suitable way to develop our country, based on the last experiences. Afterwards, this paper shows the way to settle the problem of how to tighten the cooperation of the reform and administration, public and private investment departments. The major findings and lessons from this application are discussed, together with conclusions and Observations regarding further potentials and refinements.
