STANDARD NAILS EXTRACTION. A NEW NON-DESTRUCTIVE METHOD FOR STRENGTH DETERMINATION OF CONCRETE

The present investigation is aimed at formulating an expression valid for the determination of the strength of non-destructive concretes, by means of density measurements. The method described involves measuring the withdrawal resistance of a nail which has been completely driven into the concrete specimen.
