SOUND TRANSMISSION LOSS OF FLOOR CONSTRUCTION OF SHINKANSEN VEHICLE
Sound transmission losses of some kinds of vehicle floor constructions and their constituent members were measured in a reverberation room in order to collect design data for a new model of the Tokaido Shinkansen vehicle. In this paper, transmission losses of various floor constructions and the relations between different combinations of the floor members are investigated, and these data are compared with data on sound transmission into the vehicle interior during running.
