NEUE ZWEITEILIGE DIESELTRIEBZUEGE BM/BS 92 MIT DREHSTROMANTRIEBSTECHNIK FUERDIE NORWEGISCHEN STAATSBAHNEN (NSB)
In 1982 the DUEWAG AG Company received an order from the Norwegian State Railways for 15 diesel-electric railcar sets in two units with all-aluminium bodies using the 3-phase power transmission system. These trains are composed of a power unit and a driving trailer; they will replace obsolete rolling stock, and represent the new generation of railcars for the future. The article describes the design of these trains, their technical characteristics and their manufacture.
