SOLUBILITY CHARACTERIZATION OF AUTOMOTIVE PAINTS

A solubility scheme is presented that will distinguish nonaqueous dispersion (NAD) lacquers, solvent-thinned lacquers, solvent-thinned enamels, and water-based enamels. This approach is suitable for milligram samples of evidence automotive paints.
