The conference dealt with four subjects: slurry pressure shields; other digging procedure for friable or acquiferous terrain; evacuation of soil behind sheidls, lining behind sheilds. Two talks were given by Jean Eraud: TGV Atlantic: the Villejust tunnel and the Montmorency-Invalides Valley Link: Testing and test-treating the terrain.
