ELECTRIC MOTIVE POWER WITH THYRISTOR CONTROL
The operation of converters designed to be used on a.c. electric traction stock in order to improve the power coefficient in the regenerative mode is considered. A description is given of various converters of this type to be used on electric locomotives and EMUS. Advantages of these converters are pointed out as compared to the converters for similar application but employing other design principles.
