STATISTICS FOR CONCRETE - PART 1
This digest explains how simple statistical techniques are used to monitor concrete quality, particularly strength. It is concerned with some techniques which will enable the reader to be objective about data, beginning with pictorial representations such as graphs and histograms and proceeding with variables and distributions with their relationships to quality. The later sections describe some common statistical measures and the calculation and estimation of standard deviation. (TRRL)
