VISIBILITY AND VISUAL GUIDANCE FOR ROAD USERS

ZICHTBAARHEID EN VISUELE GELEIDING VOOR WEGGEBRUIKERS

A symposium was held in Washington from July 30 -August 1, 1984 on providing visibility and visual guidance to the road user. The main focus of the symposium was the question of the best way to determine what it was necessary for road users to perceive in order to participate safely in traffic and drive with due care. A plea was held for more cooperation between Europe and the USA in the field of traffic safety research. (TRRL)
