A CAB SUSPENSION FOR TRANSCONTINENTAL OPERATION
Designs were formulated for a heavy duty truck having a sophisticated cab suspension system adaptable to the special conditions of transeuropean operation. The design and development of the Ford Transcontinental cab suspension, and the resulting ride performance, are described, as well as the unique hydraulic cab tilt system. The cab suspension complies with European safety standards; including the exceptionally strict Swedish regulations.
