BRIDGE FOUNDATIONS ON WEATHERED ROCK
A detailed investigation of sub-soil strata, designed to obtain a complete cross section along the proposed bridge across the Godwari River in nanded district, Maharashtra State of India, is reported in this paper. The geotechnical characteristics of weathered rock strata encountered during well foundations for piers are discussed. (TRRL)
