TRANSIT ACCIDENT/CRIME REPORT
This series of bimonthly reports deals with the incidence of accidents and crimes involved with transit operations in Southeastern Michigan, centering on the City of Detroit. Analyses are performed on the data collected during these studies. In the case of accidents/collisions, the information can include location, involvement of drivers in two or more incidents, driver seniority, driver sex and other factors. Crime statistics include types of crime, location (on board or at bus stops), apprehensions and other data. Trends are identified and corrective actions suggested.
