ORS, a quick response transport planning package based on procedures given in system which contains the basic functions of trip generation, trip distribution (gravity model), traffic assignment (all-or- nothing minimum route), and mode choice (simplified logit model). MICROTRIPS, a comprehensive system paralleling UTPs in functional capacity. MOTORS, an integrated suite of programs for transport planning modelling. (3) transit scheduling. MICRORUCUS, a person/computer interactive system for the development of driver run assignments for surface transit. BUSDES, an aid to the design of urban bus services using interactive graphics. FRACAS, a strategic planning model for the generation and evaluation of service and fare options for fixed route public transport. (4) CAD and engineering design. PALETTE, a complete hardware/ software system for computer aided design. CEANET, a bureau computer service for civil engineering design. SAA STAN, a specially modified version of the CIE standard luminance program, developed for the design of street lighting. ROADVIEW, a program which provides perspective views as an aid to road design. (5) traffic engineering. TRANSYT/8, a microcomputer version of a program to calculate optimum timings for a network of coordinated traffic signals. SIDRA a microcomputer version of a program to calculate optimum signal timings for isolated intersections.
