A STUDY OF THE EFFECTS OF INTERFACE CONDITION ON THIN BOUNDED PCC OVERLAYS
The purpose of this study was to verify the feasibility of using thin bonded PCC overlays and to evaluate their performance when exposed to traffic and environmental conditions in Houston. Laboratory experiments were performed and a test section was constructed; cores were taken and analyzed to determine the correlation between laboratory findings from the field, so as to arrive at useful conclusions that would enable the Texas State Department of Highways and Public Transportation to design overlays for future rehabilitation programs on CRCP.
