DE AANWEZIGHEID EN HET GEBRUIK VAN KINDERBEVEILIGINGSMIDDELEN DE AANWEZIGHEID VAN AUTOGORDELS OP DE ACHTERBANKEN VAN PERSONENAUTO'S
Results of an interview on the presence and use of child restraint systems and the presence of safety belts on the rear seats of passenger cars are analyzed. It is shown that in twenty percent of Dutch passenger cars one or more safety belts are fitted on the rear seats. In fifteen to twenty percent of the Dutch passenger cars child restraint systems are used more or less regularly. In about thirty one percent of the cars, in which more or less children are regularly transported, restraint systems are used. In all cases the results appear to be strongly dependent on the household composition. (TRRL)
