CONSIDERATIONS OF THE SAFETY OF TRANSPORTING SPENT FUEL
The safety of transporting spent fuel is reviewed from the standpoint of historical experience, analytical techniques, and research conducted to date. Considerations of sabotage are included as is a brief review of emergency response. This collection of information provides a perspective with which to evaluate relative risks involved in this activity as compared to other widely accepted risks within our society. (Author)
