TRANSPORT PLANNING MODEL DEVELOPMENT STUDY: MODE AND DESTINATION CHOICE SOFTWARE PROGRAM
The study analyzes, debugs and documents the mode and destination choice software program ADBDMS. The program, which was previously undocumented, had been designed in 1978 to implement mode choice and destination choice models developed for use in transport planning for the Adelaide metropolitan area. The report describes the logic flow and the data structures of the program, details the many discrepancies found in the source code delivered to the Department of Transport by the consultants who carried out MADBS, details the corrections made and explains how to use the revised version.
