BICYCLE ACCIDENTS. A SURVEY OF PERSONAL INJURIES RELATED TO THE BICYCLE

The aim of the study was to collect material on accidents involving cyclists resulting in personal injuries. The accidents were analysed and those related to the bicycle and its equipment were of special interest. Measures to prevent accidents were suggested on the basis of the analyses (information, bicycle design). The method of collecting and analysing the material was evaluated. (TRRL)
