The report, which was ordered by the Nordic Council of Ministers, treats environmental nuisance caused by vehicle exhaust fumes, primarily in the Nordic countries. Measures to reduce the problem and their consequences are discussed. An account is given of the Nordic and European co-operation in the field. (TRRL)
