METHANOL AS TRANSPORTATION FUEL

This publication presents the hearings on legislation to encourage the use of methanol as a transportation and utility fuel. The texts of H.R. 4855 (To develop a national methanol energy policy and to coordinate efforts to implement such policy) and H.R. 5075 (To amend the Energy Policy and Conservation Act to improve energy efficiency, to reduce United States dependence on foreign oil, and to improve the environment through the use of methanol, and for other purposes) are stated, and the testimonies of various individuals are presented.
