FOLLOW-UP OF ALEKSANTERINKATU IN 1983 IN HELSINKI
ALEKSANTERINKADUN SEURANTATUTKIMUS V. 1983
The aim of the investigation was to clarify the possible effects of the re-arrangement of Aleksanterinkatu in Helsinki on the activities in the street and in its environment. During the investigation 10 house managers, 95 representatives of retail shops, and 68 representatives of the service section were interviewed, some from Aleksanterinkatu and some from the surrounding streets. In addition, 450 persons walking on Aleksi and about 300 persons living in the capital region were interviewed concerning the re-arrangement of Aleksanterinkatu. (TRRL)
