THE REPORT OF FATAL ACCIDENTS INVESTIGATED BY THE ROAD ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION TEAMS 1983

LIIKENNEVAHINKOJEN TUTKIJALAUTAKUNTIEN TUTKIMISTA KUOLEMAANJOHTANEISTA LIIKENNEVAHINGOISTA VUONNA 1983

The report includes data on 250 traffic accidents which have resulted in death of vehicle driver or passenger in Finland during 1983, and have been investigated by the road accident investigation teams. The causes of the accidents give important data about the factors causing traffic accidents, other distributions throwing light on the drivers, vehicles and traffic environment, and their comparison with data from previous years, including data for traffic safety work. The data of the investigation material has been used and can also be used for a more detailed study. (TRRL)
