TRANSPORT IN LONDON FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. PHASE 1: EXISTING PROVISION
This report incorporates the findings of a 12 month study carried out in 1982 in all the boroughs of London, concerning the situation of disabled people handicapped in their use of public transport. The specific aims of the study were to look at what transport is provided for the special needs of disabled people, by what bodies, on what terms, and what use is made of these services, with the ultimate objective of improving services to disabled people. This report presents an overview of the situation for Greater London based on the individual profiles of provision in each borough. (TRRL)
