PACKAGING OF DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES FOR CONVEYANCE BY ROAD. CLASSIFICATION, PACKAGING AND LABELLING OF DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES REGULATIONS 1984. APPROVED CODE OF PRACTICE
This code of practice was approved by the Health and Safety Commission on 8 August 1984 and came into effect on 12 September 1984 which is the date when the classification, packaging and labelling of dangerous substances regulations 1984 came into operation. It outlines the packaging requirements and their scope and gives general recommendations and suitable packagings for particular substances. Appendix 1 lists suitable packagings for organic peroxides, appendix 2 compares this code with international recommendations or rules. (TRRL)
