MANUAL OF TRAFFIC PROVISIONS FOR DISABLED PERSONS
HANDBOEK VERKEERSVOORZIENINGEN VOOR MENSEN MET EEN HANICAP
Information is presented for setting up a traffic infrastructure that is user-friendly for people having a handicap. The first four chapters give general information on: the mobility problems of handicapped people in relation to their participation in traffic; background information regarding the target group; a review of points for attention important for local authorities approaching these problems; and a look at the juridical aspects of the measures that have to be taken. Chapter five presents technical information of importance for designers. Finally some examples of integrated measures of Dutch practice are given. (TRRL)
