DESIGN OF ROADS IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS
INRICHTING VAN ONTSLUITINGSWEGEN
A working-group of the Study Centre of Traffic Science (SVT) developed a search-system for redesigning roads in residential areas in order to decrease the negative influence of motor-traffic on the quality of life. Local authorities, designers and contractors can use this system to determine the appropriate measures for different kinds of roads. For the covering abstract of the conference see TRIS 393882.
