Features of the Life Cycle of the Air Transport System
The paper describes the place of the life cycle of the transport system on the example of products of the aviation industry. Standardization documents reveal the peculiarities of using the terminological standards of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology, the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification of the CIS in the design and assessment of the competitiveness of aviation equipment. The paper also provides a historical background on the use of design tools and the development of the aviation industry in different countries. The following is an overview of computer aided design (CAD) systems and examples of the use of product life cycle management (PLM) systems. As a conclusion, it talks about improvements in the field of transportation using complex CAD and PLM systems.
