SOME RESULTS OF INVESTIGATIONS INTO THE MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF ROCKS

NEKI REZULTATI ISPITIVANJA MEHANICKIH KARAKTERISTIKA STENSKIH MASA

The paper presents the results of in situ investigations into rock deformability caused by pressure, performed by the method of hydraulic cushion, test chamber, radial press, drilling extensometer and the results of a direct shear test performed in situ and on large test models. Besides the results of investigations at particular localities, values of the modulus of deformation, modulus of elasticity and pressure for different types of rocks obtained in situ, and parameters of shear strength, measured on laboratory samples, are given in tabular form.
