EXPLOITATION OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT
OPENBAAR VERVOER EXPLOITATIE
The public transport of today will not be replaced by a demand controlled public transport in the near future. Therefore the quality and the efficiency of public transport should be improved. The use of the microcomputer is needed for a better exploitation of public transport. In this paper the use of the microcomputer in the construction of timetables, in the information of the drivers, in providing information for the passengers, in regularity control and quality control, and in the guidance of the vehicles from a central office is outlined.
