INTELLECTUAL VICTORY
As a promotion effort, AMC/Jeep gave new Cherokees to eight teams of automotive writers and sent them on a trip from Canada to Mexico. A point system determined the winner. In this article, the author describes the trip which he made along with two companions, former Monkee Michael Nesmith and an AMC observer, manager of international public relations Jacques Poisson. The team came in last, an accomplishment which will be readily understood after reading this article.
