Research on the Inverter Fault Evolution in Permanent Magnet Direct Drive Traction Drive System
By establishing the multi physical field model of Permanent Magnet Direct Drive (PMDD) traction drive system and injecting faults, this paper compares and studies the influence of single IGBT open circuit fault of inverter on the remaining IGBT life (fault evolution). Firstly, the paper establishes the working principle of permanent magnet drive system, and introduces the actual working principle of permanent magnet drive system; On this basis, the electrothermal model and life model of IGBT are established. After the system runs stably, IGBT open circuit fault is injected, and the influence of IGBT faults at different positions on the remaining life of other IGBTs is studied. Through the qualitative and quantitative research on inverter fault evolution and transmission, it lays a solid research foundation for the later research on fault two-way transmission and the intelligent operation and maintenance and self-healing control of the system.
