Geosynthetics—Past Findings, Present Trends, and Future Prospects in Road Pavements
Geosynthetics application accomplished a numerous function which aids the performance in the network of roadways. In general, manufactured materials do possess continuous advancements in the enhancement of engineering and advanced material properties. In this paper, we aim to study the recent developments and advances in geosynthetics, including the experimental studies and field observations performed to date. This article includes the progress and studies undertaken in different parts in the context of geosynthetics. Further conclusions and discussions suggest that the areas containing geocells and glass grid should be explored for the possibilities, and further research should be performed.
