CO-ORDINATED PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT OF DIFFERENT PUBLIC TRANSPORT MODES IN A SWEDISH TOWN

The aim of the project was to test to which extent changes in organization, planning of and information on public transport in a Swedish town could result in more effective use of resources. The project was divided into three parts: (1) co-ordinated planning and new transport modes; (2) influence on attitudes and passenger information; (3) combined ordering, managing and information centre. This report summarizes the results of the tests and the before and after studies. (TRRL)
