AUTOMATIC SIGNS FOR BUSES
AUTOMATISK FORDONSSKYLTNING
A project called "automatic vehicle signs" started in 1982. The objective of the project is mainly to study different consequences for public transport companies when introducing some different types of destination signs. The objective of this evaluation report is to give a picture of the way passengers react to the different sign systems visually, the reactions of the drivers, give a picture of the reliability and show what public transport operators should look at when choosing sign systems. The cost for the different systems will also be accounted for. (Author/TRRL)
